Substance Use Disorder

PHP, Intensive Outpatient Programs & Outpatient Programs

7 Summit Pathways Substance Use Disorders (SUDS) programs were designed with the challenges of navigating early recovery. The pressures that come along with living in a fast-paced digital age make it difficult to be aware of what is happening in the present moment. This impacts our intimate and social relationships, our performance at school and in the workplace, as well as our health and wellbeing.

Our program offers a variety traditional and nontraditional services that encourage mental, emotional and spiritual wellness, teaches balanced living, cultivates supportive relationships and promotes healthy lifestyle choices.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Program participants will start with the intake process to acclimate them with the program and their new environment. Participants will attend group five days a week, have at least one individual session per week with their primary counselor, one family session per week and recovery support activities in the community that will promote long-term recovery. Clinical groups are ‘program specific’ and will incorporate approaches that support treating the ‘whole person’; Nutrition, Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention training (MBRP), Hypnotherapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Psychodrama, Yoga, Biofeedback and more. Clients will work with our Career Consultant as they begin to step down to lower levels of care to make their transition back to the workplace and in their community.

Intensive Out-Patient 3-5 Day Program

Program participants will attend one individual session per week, one family session per week, five clinical groups per week and recovery support activities in the community that will promote long-term recovery. Clinical groups are program specific and will incorporate approaches that support treating the ‘whole person’: Nutrition, Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention training (MBRP), Hypnotherapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Psychodrama, Yoga, Biofeedback and more. Clients will work with our Career Consultant as they transition back to the workplace and re-establish themselves in the community.

Intensive Outpatient Evening Program

Program participants will attend one individual or family session per week, three clinical groups per week and recovery support activities in the community that will promote long-term recovery. Clinical groups are program specific and will also incorporate approaches that support treating the ‘whole person’: Nutrition, Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention training (MBRP), Hypnotherapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Psychodrama, Yoga and more.

Upon entering the program, individuals will participate in an assessment and evaluation to determine presenting issues, appropriate level of care and to identify any need for detoxification prior to starting treatment. Participants will also be scheduled to meet with the Medical Director for a History and Physical to determine medical stability. A urine screen will be required upon admission into the program, then weekly on a random basis throughout the treatment process.

Services

Groups

Clinical Groups

Group counseling incorporates both process groups and educational presentations. Groups are focused on encouraging social interest and developing skill sets that increase positive coping and decision-making. Topics range from relapse prevention and financial planning to experiential groups that promote healthy lifestyle choices and support self-efficacy.

Family Support Group

The Family Support Group is a multi-family group for family members only. These groups incorporate both educational presentations and a process-oriented approach. Family members are presented with educational material regarding the nature of addiction, the impact of addiction on the family and other significant relationships, and strategies for self-care and support for family members.

Individualized Services

Individual Sessions:

Individual counseling sessions are scheduled weekly and range in length. Individual counseling is an important treatment modality that offers participants an opportunity to develop and amend personalized treatment goals, and time to address specific clinical/lifestyle issues that exacerbated addictive use.

Family Sessions:

Family sessions are available to all candidates, and in some cases may be required as part of the treatment process. The goal of family therapy is to educate and improve communication, learn family problem solving, understand and handle special situations, and create better functioning relationships.

Insurance Rates:

Insurance reimbursement is negotiated with the insurance companies. Participants are responsible for any deductibles, co-payments and/or any out of pocket expenses. Please refer to and send the completed Verification of Benefits form.

Scholarship/Self-Pay Rates:

Self-pay fees are due upon admission into the program and are non-refundable. Additional fees may apply for additional services that are scheduled and missed due to a no show or late cancellation (within 24hrs of scheduled service).
